About Us
Growth Has Always Been
Part of Our Story and Yours

Our Belief
We Serve People, Not Portfolios.
In our eyes, the most important financial decisions don’t center around investments or tax strategy.
They begin with questions about your family, business, or what happens when life changes unexpectedly. They focus on what you want for your children and how you’ll enjoy the life you’ve worked so hard to build.
Those are the conversations we care about. Our firm is built around the belief that real financial guidance comes from understanding the whole picture and the people behind it.

Why ‘Accretion’?
Our namesake reminds us that lasting success stems from steady, continuous momentum. Not quick wins.
In geology and astronomy, accretion is the gradual process of growth through accumulation. Small additions becoming something far greater than the sum of their parts.
We think wealth works much the same way. Every journey starts at zero. Growth happens through consistent effort and a long-term commitment. There is no ending, only a focus on what’s next.
Our Mission
We guide high-net-worth individuals and families through complex financial decisions with disciplined planning, objective advice, and a long-term perspective.
Our Vision
To become the trusted cross-border wealth partner for families across the U.S. and Latin America, helping them build, protect, and transfer wealth across generations.

Since becoming a financial advisor in 2014, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients throughout the United States and internationally, developing personalized investment strategies designed to support their unique objectives, preserve wealth, and create lasting legacies.
With extensive experience in financial markets and a commitment to staying informed, I closely follow global economic developments and financial markets every day, regularly seeking insights from leading economists, portfolio managers, and industry experts.
I travel often to meet in person with clients, strengthen professional relationships, explore new investment solutions, and attend industry conferences. I believe that staying connected and continually expanding my knowledge allows me to better serve those who place their trust in our firm.
In 2008, I started at Wells Fargo & Co. as a Business Specialist, where I developed a strong foundation in financial services and banking. I earned my MBA in International Banking and Finance in 2014 from Texas A&M International University, further strengthening my expertise in investment management and global finance.
While completing my graduate studies, I joined Wells Fargo Advisors and expanded my focus to personalized wealth management. In 2021, I co-founded Excelsis Global Private Wealth.
I enjoy taking a genuine interest in people, and I’ve always believed that strong relationships are at the heart of meaningful financial planning. Whether meeting a new client or collaborating with industry professionals, I value authentic conversations and believe every relationship presents an opportunity to learn, grow, and better serve others.
I enjoy staying active through soccer, racquetball, and fitness. My wife, Marlene, a Project Manager, and I share a passion for travel and enjoy exploring new countries, cultures, and experiences with our family.
As a father of six, I understand the responsibility of balancing today’s priorities with tomorrow’s aspirations. I know firsthand the desire to build lasting wealth and create meaningful opportunities for future generations, while remaining present for the moments that matter most. Together, Marlene and I are committed to raising our children with a strong appreciation for education, curiosity, and lifelong learning—values that also shape my approach to serving my clients.

Every family has a story that shapes the way they think about money.
Mine began when I was six years old, after my father suffered a stroke that left him permanently disabled. At an early age, I saw how quickly life can change—and how deeply those changes can affect a family.
That experience shaped the way I think about wealth to this day.
To me, wealth is not simply about accumulating assets. It is about creating stability, protecting the people we love, and preparing thoughtfully for the moments we cannot always predict.
For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate important financial decisions. In 2013, I joined Wells Fargo Advisors, and years later, my business partner and I chose to become independent through Sanctuary Wealth, supported by the institutional custody and global capabilities of BNY Mellon.
Independence gives us the ability to focus our advice around what matters most to each client and family—their goals, their priorities, and the life they are working to build.
My role is not simply to help manage wealth. It is to help families bring clarity to complex decisions, prepare for change, and use their financial resources in ways that support the people and priorities they care about most.
My understanding of responsibility began early.
At fourteen, I started working after school while dedicating myself to athletics. That commitment eventually led to a full athletic scholarship at Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Laguna, where I earned a degree in International Business.
Those years taught me lessons that still guide me today: discipline, perseverance, gratitude, and the importance of showing up for the people who depend on you.
My financial career began at IBC Bank, where I worked with domestic and international clients along the U.S.–Mexico border. Growing up between two cultures gave me a unique appreciation for the opportunities and challenges families can face when their financial lives extend across borders.
I later joined Wells Fargo Financial, specializing in mortgage lending and consumer credit, before moving to J.P. Morgan Chase. There, I earned my brokerage licenses and discovered a deeper calling in wealth management.
What drew me to this profession was not simply the investment side of the business. It was the opportunity to build long-term relationships and help families make decisions that could shape their lives for years to come.
I believe exceptional wealth management begins with understanding people.
Every family is different. Their priorities are different. Their values are different. Their definition of success is different.
That is why I believe the best advice begins with listening.
Before discussing investments, I want to understand what is happening in a client’s life. What are they working toward? What are they concerned about? Who are they trying to protect? What opportunities do they hope to create for their children and future generations?
Markets change. Tax laws evolve. Businesses grow. Families change. Children become adults. Retirement arrives.
A thoughtful financial strategy should evolve with life.
I also believe clients deserve an advisor who continues to grow alongside them. Ongoing education, professional development, and collaboration with experienced specialists are central to how I serve clients in an increasingly complex financial world.
Over the years, I have come to believe that wealth represents much more than financial success. It often represents years of sacrifice, hard work, responsibility, and love for the people who matter most.
Investments are important, but they are tools.
Purpose defines the destination. Values provide the guardrails. Discipline keeps us moving forward.
My goal is to help families align their wealth with what matters most to them, so they can make thoughtful decisions today while creating opportunities for the generations that follow.
Outside the office, I enjoy strength training, rowing, calisthenics, dancing, traveling, and experiencing different cultures.
But the time I value most is the time I spend with my wife and children.
They remind me every day that behind every financial decision there is usually something much more important than money: a family, a dream, a responsibility, or an opportunity we hope to create for someone we love.
That perspective is not separate from the work I do. It is at the heart of it.

For me, meaningful relationships have always been at the heart of both life and work.
Growing up in Matamoros while attending school in Brownsville gave me the opportunity to experience two cultures from a very young age. Whether I was at school in Texas, spending summers with family in Mexico City, or celebrating holidays in Tampico, I learned to appreciate different people, perspectives, and communities while always maintaining a strong sense of belonging.
That appreciation for people and relationships eventually became an important part of my professional life.
After discovering an interest in working with numbers, I began a career in banking that would span approximately 30 years with Texas Commerce Bank, which later became Chase Bank. During those years, I had the privilege of building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues, many of which continue today.
It was also during my time at Chase that I met Javier Ordorica. We worked together serving clients and developed a professional relationship built on trust, teamwork, and a shared commitment to helping others.
When I left Chase, I was honored when Javier invited me to join him and Carlos in their new venture as independent financial professionals. The opportunity represented both a new chapter and something very familiar to me: being part of a strong team committed to serving people well.
Today, I continue to build new client relationships while reconnecting with many individuals I first met during my years in banking. Being able to combine my experience, my love of working with numbers, and my passion for relationships has made this chapter of my career especially meaningful.
Some of the most important lessons in my life began long before my career.
My parents made sure my brother and I stayed actively involved in swimming. Many of our weekends were spent traveling to swim meets throughout Brownsville, the Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Mexico.
Competitive swimming taught me the value of discipline, commitment, and teamwork. I loved being part of a team and understanding that individual effort could contribute to something larger.
Those lessons stayed with me as I entered the professional world.
After graduating from high school and attending college, I realized that I genuinely enjoyed working with numbers. That realization led me toward banking.
When I returned to Brownsville, I joined Texas Commerce Bank, which later became Chase Bank. What began as an interest in numbers developed into a career of approximately three decades.
Over those years, I discovered that what I valued most about banking extended beyond the numbers. It was the opportunity to know people, earn their trust, work alongside great colleagues, and build relationships that could last for years.
I believe great client relationships are built on trust, consistency, and genuine connection.
My years in banking taught me that numbers are important, but there is always a person, a family, or a goal behind them. Taking the time to know people and understand what matters to them can make all the difference.
I also believe strongly in teamwork.
From competitive swimming as a child to my professional career, some of my most rewarding experiences have come from being part of a group of people working toward a shared goal. I value being someone my colleagues and clients can depend on and contributing wherever I can to the success of the team.
Moving from traditional banking into wealth management has given me the opportunity to continue learning and growing while building on the part of my career I have always valued most: relationships.
Today, I enjoy developing new client relationships and reconnecting with people I first met during my years at Chase. Being part of a team dedicated to helping others pursue their financial goals makes this chapter both fulfilling and rewarding.
Outside the office, I still enjoy swimming, an activity that has been part of my life since childhood, as well as reading.
More recently, I have developed an even greater appreciation for traveling and creating lasting memories with my family. Whether we are exploring somewhere new or simply spending quality time together, those moments are especially meaningful to me.
Looking back, gratitude is one of the words that best describes how I feel about my journey.
I am grateful to God, my parents, and my brother for the love, guidance, and support they have given me throughout my life. Their encouragement, together with the experiences and opportunities I have been fortunate to receive, helped shape the person I am today.
Those relationships continue to inspire how I approach both my personal life and my work—with gratitude, commitment, and an appreciation for the people around me.
